Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most well-known character was as Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for performing in Preparatory School before moving to Ohio with her family in mid-70s. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre through Northwestern University. Anna spent a few seasons performing in Chicago theater before transitioning to film and TV roles. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she played Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. At the beginning of 1990, Anna was a frequent guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. Skyler played Martha Bullock on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). She also starred in the Deadwood film as well as Sully. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. She was also a part of the four-part podcast audio drama called Numbered Days, which was made available in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and eventual end resembles the last years of Walter White's story.
